Classic Cheesesteak Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp Canola Oil
- 1 Ea. The Original Steak-EZE® BreakAway® Beef Steak, Marinated, 4 oz
- 1/4 tsp. Kosher Salt
- 1/8 tsp. Ground Black Pepper
- 2 Oz. Yellow Onions - Sliced Thin
- 3 Oz. Yellow Cheese Sauce (Comercially Available)
- 1 Ea. Hoagie - Split
Featuring The Original Steak-EZE® BreakAway® Beef Steak , with griddled onions and creamy cheese sauce on a sliced hoagie roll.
Directions
- Preheat a flat top grill to 350°F.
- Place oil and frozen The Original Steak-EZE® BreakAway® Beef Steak frozen onto the preheated flat top grill.
- After the portion has cooked through about half its thickness, flip the portion once.
- As the meat slices begin to cook, separate them with a spatula and add salt and pepper.
- Cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F as measured using a meat thermometer.
- Place the sliced onions on to the flat top and allow to cook until translucent.
- Using a spatula, combine the The Original Steak-EZE® BreakAway® Beef Steak and onions together.
- Top with cheese sauce and combine.
- Split the hoagie bun and place it on top of the prepared cheesesteak and scoop onto the hoagie bun and serve as needed.
