Fiery Arrabbiata Sausage and Peppers Pizza Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 ea. 16" Fresh 'N Ready Oven Rising Sheeted Pizza Dough
- 6 oz. Pizza Sauce (Commercially Available)
- 2 tsp. Red Pepper Flakes
- 8 oz. Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 10 oz. Hillshire Farm® Old World Specialties® Spicy Italian-Style Sausage, Large Chunk
- 5 oz. Tri-Colored Petite Sweet Cherry Peppers, Sliced
- 1 tbsp. Crsipy Fried Garlic Bits (Commercially Available)
Turn up the heat with this pizza featuring Hillshire Farm® Old World Specialties® Spicy Italian-Style Sausage with an arrabbiata pepper sauce, mozzarella cheese, tri-colored sweet cherry peppers and crispy garlic bits for that extra crunch.
Directions
- Preheat impinger oven to 475°F.
- Remove pizza dough from freezer, cover tightly and slack in cooler prior to use.
- Remove pizza dough from cooler and place onto a clean work surface.
- Spread pizza sauce evenly over crust from edge to edge.
- Sprinkle red pepper flakes on top of the pizza sauce covering the entire surface of the pizza.
- Top pizza sauce with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Place Spicy Italian-Style Sausage on top of cheese evenly spread around entire pizza.
- Top entire pizza with tri-colored cherry peppers.
- Place prepared pizza onto a pizza screen and place it into the impinger oven.
- Cook for approximately 6 minutes and 15 seconds.
- Remove from oven and place pizza onto a cutting board.
- Cut pizza into slices and sprinkle the entire pizza with crispy garlic bits.
- Serve as needed.
